Tavyrn is operated by Yucheng Wang. We collect only the information we need to respond to inquiries, operate the website and demonstrations, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
Information we collect
Contact inquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, work email address, and organization. We retain the inquiry in the configured SQLite database and, when email notifications are enabled, send a copy through Resend to Tavyrn’s configured intake address.
Demonstration inputs. If you provide CSV files to a workflow demonstration, we process the file contents and filenames needed to run that demonstration.
Direct communications. We collect the information you include when you email us or continue a conversation with Tavyrn.
Technical information. Website delivery and security providers may process information such as your IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested pages, and security events.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to and evaluate inquiries;
- operate the website and workflow demonstrations;
- protect the service from errors, misuse, and security threats;
- improve Tavyrn using aggregated or de-identified observations; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Who receives information
We disclose information only when reasonably necessary to:
- Cloudflare, for website delivery and security;
- infrastructure providers used to operate the website or store inquiry submissions;
- contractors or professional advisers who need the information to support Tavyrn and are expected to handle it confidentially; or
- courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service.
Tavyrn does not sell personal information or disclose it for targeted advertising.
Demo files and sensitive information
Demo CSV files are processed only for the requested run and are not intentionally persisted after the response is produced. Tavyrn's public website and demonstrations are not designed for PHI, patient-identifiable information, credentials, confidential research data, or unpublished datasets. Please do not submit them.
Retention
Contact-form submissions are automatically deleted within 12 months after submission unless the inquiry is marked active because a conversation or business relationship is ongoing. Active relationship records and direct communications are kept only as long as reasonably needed for that relationship, legal obligations, accounting, dispute resolution, or security.
Demo CSV files are not intentionally retained after the requested run. Technical and security logs are retained according to the configured periods of the infrastructure providers that process them.
Sales, advertising, and tracking
Tavyrn does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track visitors over time across unrelated websites. Because Tavyrn does not conduct this kind of cross-site tracking, the website does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Service providers may process technical information to deliver and protect the website, but Tavyrn does not authorize them to use it for targeted advertising on Tavyrn's behalf.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information associated with your inquiry by emailing tavyrn3@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Tavyrn will respond within 30 days.
Security, location, and children
Tavyrn uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Tavyrn operates in the United States, and information is processed in the United States.
This professional website is not directed to children under 13, and Tavyrn does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, Tavyrn will post the revised notice here and update the effective date. If a material change affects information already collected, we will also provide additional notice on the website or by email when appropriate.
